In the south, Canggu and Seminyak have the widest spread of kids' clothing, mostly in small boutiques tucked along the main roads rather than one central shopping strip. Many sell locally made cotton basics and swimwear sized for babies and young kids, alongside a few surf-brand outlets that carry toddler and kids lines. Kuta and Legian have larger retail strips with chain stores that stock mainstream kids' fashion, useful if you need a specific size fast. Because these areas are spread along the coast road, getting between them with a child in tow is easier once you've worked out whether you need a car or a scooter for daily errands.
Ubud's clothing shops lean toward batik and loose cotton pieces, sold through small family-run stalls around the market area and along the road toward Campuan. Sizing tends to run small and informal, so trying things on matters more than checking a label. If you're outfitting a baby or toddler and want to avoid buying new for every growth spurt, Ubud's expat community also trades heavily through local parent groups, one of the easiest ways to find secondhand baby and kids clothing before shopping new.
Sanur has a calmer retail scene with a handful of kids' boutiques and larger supermarkets that carry basic clothing alongside everyday supplies. Denpasar has the island's main shopping malls and department stores, which is where most families end up for school uniforms, larger sizes or specific brands not sold in the beach towns. These malls often sit near the same supermarkets and pharmacies where families find western baby products and groceries, so a mall trip can cover clothing and groceries in one stop.
