What should I use Knowmads for?
Use Knowmads like that one insider Bali friend who always knows everything. Ask anything, anytime, and get answers you can trust. With Knowmads Club, you also unlock perks at trusted family businesses.
Do I need an account to ask a question?
No. You can ask the guide a question straight away without signing up. A free account is what adds your Knowmads Family Card, partner perks and family updates by email.

How much does it cost to use Knowmads?
Knowmads is completely free. Create a free account to unlock every partner discount we have secured for families across Bali, plus the AI family guide and all our guides.
Is this a subscription? Will I be charged later?
No. Joining Knowmads is a free account — we do not ask for payment details and there is no subscription to cancel.
What is the Knowmads Family Card and how do I use it?
It is your free member card. Once you join it appears in your account with your own QR code — show that code at a participating partner business and they apply the family perk they have agreed with Knowmads.

Which languages does Knowmads support?
The site and the guide are available in English, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Russian, Chinese and Arabic.
How accurate are the answers?
Answers draw on recommendations chosen and updated by parents living in Bali, so they are far more specific than general search. Details that change often — visa rules, prices, opening hours — are worth confirming with the school, clinic or venue before you rely on them.
How do I add a family event, or list my business?
Anyone can submit a family event; every submission is reviewed by our team before it appears on the events calendar. Businesses that want to reach Knowmads families can get in touch through our page for businesses.
