Which cafes and restaurants in Bali are best for nursing and baby changing?

Dedicated nursing rooms and changing tables are rare in Bali cafes. Family cafes in Canggu and Sanur are usually relaxed about nursing at the table. For a real changing table, go to the larger malls in Denpasar and Kuta. Pack a fold-out changing mat, since most cafe bathrooms have no dry bench.

The family cafes that actually work for nursing sit in Canggu (Berawa and Pererenan) and in Sanur, where a lawn or play corner is common. Staff there see babies all day and rarely mind if you nurse at the table. Restaurants and cafes with a playground nearby give you space to step aside without blocking a walkway. Seminyak and central Kuta have tighter indoor dining, so a quiet corner is harder to find.

A dedicated changing table is uncommon in a standalone cafe. Cafe bathrooms in Bali are often wet-floor rooms with a squat or sit-down toilet and no dry bench. Look for a family restroom in the malls in Denpasar and Kuta that have a kids' zone, usually near the food court. Resort hotels in Nusa Dua and Jimbaran often have a family restroom you can ask to use, even if you are only eating.

Pack a fold-out changing mat and extra wipes when you leave the house. Staff at a family cafe will often point you to a quieter room if you ask, though you still need your own mat. If you came by car, the back seat is what many parents use between meals. You can restock diapers and wipes at the western baby product shops and larger supermarkets that families use for formula.
