+Is Rock Island suitable for young children?
Yes — the recommended minimum age is 3. Kids aged 5–12 climb with an adult supervising (one guardian per two kids), and children under 5 can climb before 12 PM or join a private class. Kids’ rental climbing shoes are available from EU size 19.
+Do we need climbing experience or our own gear?
No experience needed — beginners are welcome and the crew will guide you through everything. Shoes, harnesses and all equipment can be rented; just bring socks and a water bottle (there’s a free refill station). Walk-ins are fine unless you’re joining a class.
