SettingNuanu sits on the west coast in Tabanan, built as a planned creative city with new residences and a school inside one gated development.The Bali Kite Festival takes place at Padang Galak beach in Sanur, an older seaside town with established streets and long-running family homes.
BeachesNuanu's coastline is a black sand beach with strong currents, more suited to watching kites and sunsets than swimming with small kids.Sanur's beach is calmer and shallower than most of Bali's south coast, with a paved beachfront path that parents use for walks and bike rides with strollers.
