A hilltop temple with a long staircase and one of the widest panoramas in the valley, plus a large Hanoman statue kids tend to remember. Better suited to ages 6 and up because of the climb; carrying a toddler up is doable but slow. Budget cost. Go before 9am, before the tour vans from Ubud fill the small parking area.

Lahangan Sweet

A rice terrace viewpoint east of the main Sidemen strip, known for its swings strung out over the paddies.
