Berawa vs Canggu for families

Berawa and Canggu sit right next to each other on Bali's southwest coast, and many expat guides treat Berawa as the quieter neighbor within the wider Canggu area. Both give you beach access, cafes and a large community of foreign families, but they differ in pace, density and daily traffic. The right pick often comes down to whether you want to be in the middle of things or a short drive from them.

BerawaCanggu
SettingQuieter and more residential, with a grid of smaller lanes and fewer big tourist strips.Denser and more built up, centered on a busy main strip mixing shops, cafes and surf culture.
